The author and writer, D. J. Hoogacker is an adventure junkie, having traveled to several countries as a teenager and traveled around parts of the United States in his early 20s. His life experiences have greatly contributed to his imaginative tendencies.

 

Currently, D. J. Hoogacker works as a technician in telecommunications and writes in his spare time. However, he has aspirations to write full-time in the future. It has been a lifelong dream of his to write novels, and he finally found the inspiration to act on his dreams due to the birth of his son. His ambition is to write at least two more novels connected to Chasing Autumn to complete a series titled "The Allen Brown Collection", but is also interested in writing other genres like thrillers.
