Now retired Captain of the Air Force, Franklin R. Jackes shares his experiences soaring through the skies with long hour missions to the North Pole, crossing the Pacific Ocean twice to save a burning fighter bomber, and the depths of Vietnam. Never failing a mission with 6,875 hrs., this airman has cheated death and defied the laws of gravity without losing an aircraft. Franklin R. Jackes from Monroe, Michigan, has served and lead our country with honors. Spends his time and dedication with the VFW’s here in Monroe as well as other military establishments.
